Clinic Truck

For Christmas help us fix this truck!

Well, not for us, but for our friends in Mombin Crochu Haiti. The clinic that VPI partners with uses it for everything — from transporting supplies in from the port to carrying nurses and doctors to remote families and children, to carrying patients in from the field. It’s the workhorse of so many needs. But after 12 years and many hard miles it broke down and needs considerable repair, plus new tires. It’s not a fancy truck. We can get it repaired completely for $5,000. So it’s at the top of our Christmas list, and surely in the tradition of St. Nicholas who history tells us had great compassion for the poor. LET’S DO IT TOGETHER as a Christmas project that truly acts in the highest spirit of this Christmas season. VPI will send this truck ornament to all who help to hang on your tree.
