VPI has sent Dr. Sylvia Campbell and Jeannie Gres (CNRA) to Haiti following the earthquake where they are currently serving by performing surgeries at the King’s Hospital north of Port-Au-Prince.
We appreciate your prayers for them.
We anticipate their return in approximately ten days.
Here is a note we received from Joanne:
Dear friends,
Just to let you know that my family (extended) and I are alive and safe. The Lord has been particularly good for us.
One of my brother has a wound in one leg but it is not severe.
Thank you for all your prayers. Communication is poor and my phone is missing so I don’t have my contact numbers. I don’t have much information about many friends.
Please keep praying for those who are still alive under the ruins. God can keep their lives until they get rescued.
