Well it is pouring down rain right now in PAP. I really feel for all the people in tents and under tarps. I want to give an update on how the money is being used.

I plan on giving more money to extend the drinkable water project at Tim Heaths house. It is going great. I got a huge roll of tickets and people are given a ticket they can take to the water filter place and get a specific amount of water. The people running the water filter store then turn in the tickets to Tim for the money.

I will give Tim more cash to give out to specific people in the tents around him. I really want to make sure the lady that just gave birth, the grandmother caring for her orphaned grandson and some others that are really struggling are taken care of.

Gina Lenny is the wife of Enoch Lenny. You might remember him from the airport. He worked for us several years ago, but we had to let him go. Enoch was killed in the quake and Gina is due to give birth in May. I will use a quite a bit to help her with cost and provide some monthly income after the birth. But I need to see how much support she is getting from her family now. If she is doing well with her parents I may hold back a little.

David Carwell has a lady he is wanting to help who is a widow and her house collapsed. I am looking at giving toward that project to help her build a new small two room house.

I am also excited about some projects that Fonkoze has put me in contact with. You might be familiar with them. Their Pignon office is upstairs from our PGN office. We do some flying for them and they do microloan projects and education. I really want to put some money towards more long term projects that are self sustaining.

Amazingly things are getting somewhat back to normal. I think everyone was afraid of a lot of riots and looting but that never took place and so far all these people crammed in tents seem to be OK and making due.

God Bless, Will
