A story from one of the beneficiaries of the relief food

Nyadoi, an 86-year-old woman from Papoli, Uganda receives food aid. Nyadoi receiving a delivery of food aid at her house in Papoli, Uganda

My name is Nyadoi A. aged 86 years, I live in Papoli village, in Malawa zone. Papoli is one of the communities that is blessed in many ways that we who are old did not see in our youth days until about 15 years ago. There are many activities I like about my village carried out by different kind people who visit us.

Our own PACODEF, has contributed to the development of my village in water wells, hospital, school, seeds, food for us old people, cloths etc .

With pleasure, I want to appreciate them because of all they have done. Most recent was the season where we had total lock down when it became too hard for one survival.

It was a Saturday, when I had slept hungry for two days for l totally lacked what to feed my grand children whose parents died of AIDS some years ago. There to my great surprise l saw a PACODEF staff bringing us food and I really saw that God answers prayers through other people.

We were given 5kgs of Posho, this made me speechless instead I just began crying with tears of joy.

I have fewer words but may the living God bless whoever was behind my happiness for that day
