We at VPI want to thank you for your support through the challenges of this past year. Due to the pandemic, we had to creatively come up with new ways to fund the programs that provide food and medical support for children and families struggling in Haiti and Uganda. The Board and other volunteers worked hard to keep things going and had fun while doing it. We honored our mothers and fathers with donations that supported families in need, we had a pie-fest through Mike’s Pies, sold baskets of cooking spices and adorable pumpkin centerpieces. We hosted a virtual 5K and ended the year with a virtual Hippie Bash that included a drawing for two tie-died bicycles. We could not have done this without your generous support. As we begin the New Year, we can reflect on the fact that we never lost sight of our goal to partner with communities and provide resources that will help them serve those most in need. This glimmer of hope shines bright, even in the darkest of times. Happy 2021, everyone, and may the light of hope and peace shine in your lives.
